Preheating of electrodes of IRS class C2 & D2 at 350 deg. C for one hour or as recommended by the manufacturer be done prior to use.

For welding IRS M-44 to IRS M-41, IRS class D2 with high deposition should be used.

For welding IRSM-44 to IS:2062/5986/1079, IRS class C2 basic coated low hydrogen type electrodes having IS code EB5426H3JX or EB5424H3JX as per IS:814-91 should be used.

Crib angles side to ISA 50x50x6 is manufactured from IRSM-44 steel instead of IS:2062 Fe 410 CuWA steel.
