1. LDCE Group B Exam
The selection process consists of
(A) Written Examination
- The written Examination will be conducted in the form of Centralized Computer Based Objective Type Examination (CBT) by RRB.
- There shall be 175 Multiple Choice Questions out of which 150 questions are to be attempted.
- Each objective type question carry 1 mark and for each incorrect answer, One-third (1/3rd) of the marks allotted for each question will be deducted.

(B) Medical Examination
This will be conducted for the candidates those who clear the written exam and before attending the Viva interview in the Railway Hospitals
(C) Viva-voce and record of service.
- Final stage of the interview for the written cleared candidates by the PHOD panel headed by PCME in his/her chamber
- Candidates who are unwilling to join the Group B should inform before the interview

- Minimum qualifying marks in written exam is 90 marks (60%)
- Minimum qualifying mark for Interview and APAR together is 30 out of 50 Marks (Including at least 15 marks under record of service)
- Total marks of the examination is for 200 Marks
- Syllabus is almost same for 30% and 70%(No Negative marking) exams
- Written results will be declared by NAIR
